Welcome to San Diego! This past weekend, my friend Tatiana and I met up in San Diego for a short beach getaway at Tower 23 Hotel. Tower 23 is a boutique, beach front hotel, also known for being the ONLY lifestyle hotel on Pacific Beach. Being just steps away from the sand, this hotel was definitely the perfect little getaway.
We searched high and low for a hotel with a location that we could stay in all weekend long. That is exactly what Tower 23 had to offer us! After checking in, it didn’t take long for us to cancel our plans and soak up all that Tower 23 had to offer while we were here. If you’re looking for stunning views, a welcoming staff and food to die for food…keep reading because you found your next San Diego destination.
THE ROOM
The vibes and decor of this entire hotel were on point, but what really caught my eye was the perfect beach aesthetic, mixed in with a fresh and modern design throughout our room! From the open bathroom concept, the coziest robes, to the beach front balcony views, this entire hotel room felt luxurious.
Within minutes of arriving to our 2nd floor room, we were delivered a fabulous bottle of red vino to begin our stay. From the very beginning, we felt pampered and very welcomed. Almost immediately, we put on our cozy hotel robes and slippers and we were ready to relax and get our weekend started at Tower 23!
THE FOOD
If I didn’t know any better, I would say that Tower 23 was known for it’s food! We ate at the JRDN for both brunch and dinner. From delicious sushi, to chicken and waffles, they have a variety that is sure to please everyone. Brunch was exquisite with delicious, flavored mimosas and picture perfect views beside the famous Pacific Beach boardwalk!
The Location
Location, location, location! Whether you want to hop on of those electric scooters, rent some skates or simply go for a scenic walk, this location has something for everyone. If you feel the need to leave this fabulous hotel, the possibilities are endless. Explore the nearby restaurants, bars, shops and activities on the beach.
Attention to the Tower 23 staff: Thank you so much for going above and beyond for Tatiana and I, all weekend long! We couldn’t have felt more welcomed from the second we stepped into the hotel. We cannot wait to come back!
For all of you travelers, if you’re looking for a San Diego oceanside retreat or just a short staycation away from home, I couldn’t recommend Tower 23 more!
